The whole world is a savanna; forests and grasslands are just special cases
Madeleine is the program manager for the New Mexico State University Jornada LTER. She grew up in western North Carolina and graduated from Wake Forest University in 2020 with a degree in biology and minor in environmental science. After graduating, Madeleine worked with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and NOAA to perform conservation work with sea turtles. In 2021, Madeleine collected GIS field data for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
In her free time, Madeleine enjoys hiking, playing violin, and exploring new places.
